In Touch of Frost, Gwen learned more about her abilities, as well as learning about the different types of warriors. Kiss of Frost picks up shortly after Touch of Frost left off. Gwen is working to further strengthen her abilities and is training with some of the teen warriors to be able to better defend herself.
Gwen’s life is being threatened, but instead of asking for help she tries to take care of herself. Yep, another person not asking for help when knowing they are ill-equipped to deal with the issue. Throughout the book I was wanting to scream at her, I get she wants to prove herself to everyone, but ASK FOR HELP. Aside from me wanting to throw things at the character’s head, I really did enjoy Kiss of Frost. I do like Gwen, she just needs to grow up a bit.
I do have to say that the big discovery of just what was happening surprised me! I had feelings of who/what was going on, but was pleasantly surprised there were a few twists and turns. I can’t wait to see what Estep brings to us for Dark Frost.
