Pure by Jennifer L Armentrout

Alex lives–and loves–recklessly, until a single decision leads to a heartbreaking revelation. As a mysterious threat closes in and she confronts a Council that wants to see her in servitude, Alex face a choice between love that is fated… and love that is forbidden.

What is there to say about Pure?!?! When I read Daimon and Half-Blood I was enthralled and didn’t think the series could possibly get any better, but it did! I’m going to keep this review short, because I don’t want to spoil things if you haven’t already read the first two.

Alex is back as her strong kick-ass self, she knows how to defend herself and protect those around her. Seth is becoming more and more charming, sure he’s arrogant but what girl doesn’t love love? And Aiden..sigh! In Pure the love triangle is running rampant, every few pages my “choice” changes – the way a real love triangle should be! If you’ve ever read many of my reviews of books with love triangles, you know I strongly frown upon them, but this one is amazing.

Usually, around book two or three in a series there is a filler book, one to establish the rest of the story line. Pure wasn’t that book; instead, we have another action-packed book. This is a series that I can picture myself reading for a long time and still loving. I cannot wait to see what happens next to our beloved Covenant characters!

Like I already said, if you haven’t read Daimon and/or Half-Blood go do so NOW! (Daimon can be downloaded for free from Spencer-Hill!)

I received Pure: The Second Covenant Novel from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.
