“Anna is dreading another tourist-filled summer on Dune Island that follows the same routine: beach, ice cream, friends, repeat. That is, until she locks eyes with Will, the gorgeous and sweet guy visiting from New York. Soon, her summer is filled with flirtatious fun as Anna falls head over heels in love.
But with every perfect afternoon, sweet kiss, and walk on the beach, Anna can’t ignore that the days are quickly growing shorter, and Will has to leave at the end of August. Anna’s never felt anything like this before, but when forever isn’t even a possibility, one summer doesn’t feel worth the promise of her heart breaking….”

I’ve got a confession to make..I’m craving a super sappy book. (Any recommendations??? It doesn’t have to be contemporary, I just want a good love story that’ll make my teeth rot.)  While this book was good, it didn’t fulfill my sap-craving.  Of which, I have about 4 more titles lined up, hoping one will.  But I digress, it was a good book.

What gets cuter than a first love?  I’m in a rut reading books about summer locals that I want to visit.  The weather here has been dreary all week, with more rain and cold to come.  Who doesn’t love the beach?  I’m also apparently in a rambling mood, so bare with me.

I loved the character of Anna.  Will was charming and perfect.  Sam and Caroline were charming friends.  Owen, Will’s brother, brought a small smile to my face.  The book was a bit predictable, but that’s to be expected.  I’ll admit I drove Jordan crazy reading it while talking to him on Skype.  Oops!  I wanted to know what happened though.  Overall, it was a good, fun read.
